Such a lovely setting and the staff appear to be very friendly, this was are last treat meal in Paris however, we waited about 20 minutes to have our order taken from when we received the menus. We asked for water twice, never received it. He was very apologetic but when the waiter took the order - I said can I have the plat du jour as on the board (his English was pretty good too)- the hamburger, my daughter said she heard me say it twice. The set menu was excellent for 17Euro and most of the French in the restaurant were clearly ordering this. 25 minutes later part of our order arrived the croque monsieur. After a prompt mine came out 10 minutes later.
They both tasted very good , despite the delays. Finally, I went to order my desert from the plat du jour only to be told , oh no you had a cheeseburger so you can't have the plat du jour. I told him I asked for a hamburger not a cheeseburger but to no avail, I basically had a layer of cheese which I did nt order but then precluded me from the plat du jour. I felt he knew what he did and not sure that would happen if I'd been french. shame. Only £10 difference but disappointing service.
Rien d'exceptionnel dans les assiettes : salade fade, tomates dures, fromages bas de gamme, très déçu par rapport à la situation géographique et au prix
Plats & cadre sympathiques (en terrasse intérieur). Service particulièrement désagréable, remarques passive-agressive sans raison de la part de ce qui semblait être le manager du lieu. Impossibilité d'adapter les plats à des besoins de santé pour l'un de nos convives. On nous demande avec insistance pourquoi on ne veut pas poursuivre après nos plats. On nous fait attendre longuement les cafés en précisant "ça a été long pour ces cafés hein?" au service.
